At CPHI Milano 2026, Coesia will present technologies and solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging. The portfolio covers different technologies used across production and packaging processes, which can be integrated depending on specific applications and production requirements.

A Growing Market With Increasing Requirements

According to Precedence Research, the global pharmaceutical market is expected to grow from approximately USD 1.77 trillion in 2025 to more than USD 3 trillion by 2034, corresponding to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.15 %. The increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, the expansion of personalized medicine, and the growing use of biologics contribute to this development.

Manufacturers therefore need to address quality, regulatory compliance, productivity, and flexibility within increasingly complex production environments.

Technologies for Production and Packaging

The portfolio includes technologies for pharmaceutical production and packaging processes, including filling, automated inspection, assembly, serialization, packaging, and end-of-line applications.

The different technologies can be integrated within common equipment and control architectures. Depending on the production requirements, individual process steps can be connected within a production line, while additional technologies or applications can be incorporated as needed.

Digitalization and Specialized Applications

Digital technologies are another part of the portfolio. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), digital execution platforms, and data management solutions can be used for process control, traceability, and the reduction of potential human errors. They can also support regulatory compliance and provide a basis for continuous process improvement. The portfolio also includes application-specific technologies, e. g., for ophthalmic products. These include equipment for the filling, inspection, and packaging of sterile products.
