The cooler is ideally suited for running preliminary tests prior to major production runs. All of the parameters needed by a large pharmaceutical plant can be simulated using the CCRM-20/12PH, therefore enabling important cooling process parameters such as product thickness, roller speed as well as product temperature to be tested and realised later on in scaled-up operation. Informative knowledge has already been taken into consideration with regard to the choice of materials used for the surfaces coming into contact with the products during major production runs, e.g. the rollers and conveyor belts, having been specially chosen for use with products that have adhesive characteristics.

This ensures that frequent product changes, which often occur in development laboratories and during small quantity production runs, can be carried out seamlessly.

BBA also provides a lockable parts case for storing the dismantled components of the cooling/milling system in addition to many other options.
