Right plastic for your application

  • In industrial applications, PVC-U is one of the most frequently used plastics. GF Piping Systems has been a leading manufacturer of PVC-U piping systems for over 50 years. The systems withstand temperatures from 0 °C to 60 °C, offer excellent resistance to chemicals and corrosion and thanks to a wide range of available products can be used universally. As all PVC-U-components are physiologically inert, these systems are also ideal for the food industry and drinking water applications. PVC-U is widely used in the chemical and textile industries as well as in shipbuilding.
  • PVC-C systems are especially suited to aggressive environments requiring maximum safety and a long service life. With a temperature resistance of up to 80 °C, PVC-C systems can be used in environments with very high temperatures. Due to its high resistance to aggressive media such as mixed acids, acids and alkalis, the systems are particularly valued in the chemical, paper and pulp industries, in building services, shipbuilding, metal treatment and the manufacture of microelectronic components.
  • Because of its low thermal conductivity and high impact resistance, ABS is the material of choice in industrial applications in the low temperature range between -50 °C and 60 °C. Applications can be found in cooling and refrigeration, as well as shipbuilding and water treatment. ABS exhibits good resistance to water, aqueous saline solutions and most diluted acids and bases.
