China: Fragrance Production Givaudan Starts Construction of Large Investment in Fragrance Business in China

Givaudan laid the foundation for a new production hub in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province of China. With a total investment of approximately $ 100 million, it represents the company's largest investment in China to date.

Changzhou/China — Located in one of the most economically developed areas of China, the new site will increase the manufacturer's capacity whilst maintaining high service levels to its customers across North East Asia.

The new hub covers a surface of 76,000 m2 and will be equipped with modern compounding technology that ensures a high degree of automation. The facility is expected to start operations during 2020.
