Pump Specialist Flux-Geräte Sets Up Indian Subsidiary
The founding of a subsidiary in India is another step taken by the German pump specialist Flux-Geräte to extend its worldwide distribution network. Pune, one of India’s biggest cities, will be the company’s basis for its development of the huge Indian market.
Maulbronn/Germany, Pune/India – India is one of the so-called BRIC states and therefore one of the most important future markets for Flux-Geräte, based in Maulbronn/Germany. Flux sees an enormous sales potential especially in the emerging industries such as chemistry, food and automotive. By setting up its whollyowned subsidiary, Flux Pumps India that started business on 1 July 2012, Flux-Geräte is seizing the opportunity to strategically capture this huge market.
Individual partners have represented Flux-Geräte at various sites in India for many years already. As the Mumbai-Pune metropolitan area has developed to become one of India’s most important industrial zones, Flux-Geräte has chosen Pune as the site of its new subsidiary.
Flux was able to engage Kiran Kadam, a highly committed employee, as one of the three managing directors. He has many years of experience in the pump business of his native country India and will manage operations on site. In addition to Flux products, Flux Pumps India will also sell the products of Flux subsidiary Sondermann Pumpen + Filter. Moreover, the new Flux subsidiary will be the distributor of the products of Walter Speck in India.
The official inauguration ceremony was held on 1 August 2012. Managing director Kiran Kadam and the directors Klaus Hahn and Dr Jörg Dassow welcomed business partners, employees and their families to ceremony. Flux Pumps India will for the first time have its own stand at the „Industrial Pumps, Valves and Systems“ trade fair in Pune to be held 14 to 16 December 2012.
