Facility Accident Fire at ONGC’s India Plant Leaves 2 Injured
The fire at ONGC’s effluent treatment plant in Uran, Maharashtra has been doused off, however the cause of the fire is yet to be known. Two employees suffered burn injuries in the process and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Mumbai/India – On March 31, a fire broke out near Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s (ONGC) effluent treatment plant in Uran, Maharashtra, India.
Two employees have reportedly suffered burn injuries and were rushed to the hospital. The incident occurred at around 6 pm and the fire was successfully extinguished before it spread to other areas. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
