At Powtech, Fette Compacting presented innovative production technologies such as the new i Series and versatile analysis devices such as the F Lab Series. A special focus was on collaboration with customers, which begins with the joint development of new formulations and extends to the optimization of entire machine parks. For this purpose, the experts of the Global Sales team provided a comprehensive overview of the portfolio in customer meetings.

Tablet manufacturers from the pharmaceutical and food sectors face a wide range of challenges, shares the company. This makes it more important to involve the customers and partners in all development processes as early as possible. The deeper the firm understands what our customers need, the more precisely we can offer solutions. For this purpose, the company invited visitors to a lively exchange with its team of experts at Powtech 2023, mentions the firm.

Versatile tablet production of the future

The latest generation of the i Series was also seen on site, exemplified by the all-rounder F20i, which is suitable for a variety of production scenarios and batch sizes. In addition to numerous innovative technologies, all models of the new machine series use intelligent energy monitoring, which enables users to save up to 15 per cent, adds the company.

Moreover, trade fair visitors learned about further innovations with which Fette Compacting is making tablet production fit for the future in personal discussions and by means of digital insights: from a lean Continuous Processing System (FE CPS) with an embedded Process Analysis Technology (ePAT) to a comprehensive handling and care system for tableting tools (Easycare).

Understanding powders, optimizing formulations

As a small but effective trade fair highlight, Fette Compacting presented the F Lab 10, a Powder Compacting Analyzing Unit that is suitable for a wide range of applications: from feasibility studies and quality control to troubleshooting in ongoing production. The F Lab Series allows formulations to be examined regarding their compaction process and optimized at an early stage. Users can analyze raw materials in a time and material-saving manner, allowing them, for example, to compare different formulations. On this basis, the analysis unit offers decisive advantages in the development process of new products, opines the company.
