Tennessee/USA – Eastman Chemical Company has recently completed a new isobutyric acid manufacturing facility at its Kingsport, Tennessee site in the USA. The company expects production to begin within the next few weeks. The new facility, when added to the firm’s Longview, Texas site, doubles Eastman's production capacity of isobutyric acid.

Eastman’s isobutyric acid can be found in a number of applications in various markets, including agriculture intermediates, food flavours and fragrance, and protective coatings.
