Bodo Möller Chemie announced that it was taking over distribution of Huntsman Advanced Materials including its adhesives, potting & casting product lines. The focus will be on structural adhesives for industrial manufacturing, as well as potting and casting systems for the electronics industry.
Offenbach/Germany — Huntsman Advanced Materials and Bodo Möller Chemie have already worked together for many years in Europe and in Asia. The German distributor recently opened a subsidiary in the United States, located in Atlanta, Georgia, in addition to one in Puebla, Mexico. These two subsidiaries will focus on the distribution of Huntsman technologies, including the Araldite line of epoxy, polyurethane and methacrylate adhesives.
Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group explained that the distribution agreement with Huntsman would help manufacturers from the transportation and electronics industries to solve new and challenging demands in bonding and sealing. Additionally, the proximity to key transportation manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers in the USA would allow them to strategically provide knowledge and its product portfolio all over the United States.
The company’s own products include high-performance epoxy resin, polyurethane and silicone-based adhesives, thermosetting plastics (epoxy resin, polyester, polyurethane, silicone), pigments and additives, textile agents, dyes, electro casting resins, tooling and laminating resins and composites.
