With Ralph Schweens, the current President of the global Operating Division at Care Chemicals retiring soon, the company has appointed Dr. Mary Kurian Senior, Vice President, Petrochemicals North America at BASF, to succeed him.

Ludwigshafen/Germany – Ralph Schweens (58), President global Operating Division Care Chemicals will retire effective March 31, 2023. He will be succeeded by Dr. Mary Kurian (45), Senior Vice President, Petrochemicals North America, BASF Corporation, Houston, Texas. She will, as President, assume responsibility for the global Operating Division Care Chemicals, Ludwigshafen, as of April 1, 2023.
