How to Provide Energy Efficiency for Magnetically Coupled Pumps
The most central topic in the development of magnetically coupled pumps is the improvement of energy efficiency. New canister materials significantly reduce eddy current losses. The newly developed magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps with a borosilicate canister optimally meet constantly growing efficiency requirements and are an energy-efficient alternative to all conventional pumps with mechanical seals. Since the pumps are not only low-maintenance, but also absolutely leak-free and almost wear-free, they can be applied in many different industrial areas as a safe and environmentally friendly solution for conveying aggressive and toxic media.
The connection dimensions are identical to conventional canisters, allowing canisters to be easily replaced even on existing machines and systems currently in operation. Hence, the borosilicate canister is an ideal supplement to the magnetic coupling for saving costs and being competitive on the market.
