A Chinese startup stunned the AI (Artificial Intelligence) industry when it introduced its free AI-powered chatbot in January 2025. Claimed to be developed at a cost of just 6 million dollars and a timeline of two months, the chatbot seemed to challenge major US AI and tech firms that invested hefty amounts in billions of dollars to establish a similar platform. As more and more companies enter the AI market space, new and innovative ideas will keep on emerging. This also goes on to show how far AI as a technology has evolved over the years.
