Lamot Valve & Arrestor’s latest product – the Model L11E Weight-Loaded Pressure Relief Valve offers an option to incorporate calibrated weights which helps industry players to use the valve across a wide range of applications.

Lamot Valve & Arrestor has recently announced the release of its new product: the Model L11E Weight-Loaded Pressure Relief Valve. The valve includes an option to add calibrated weights in 0.5 osig increments, giving the operator the flexibility to adjust the set pressure of this valve from the top of the tank and eliminating the need to remove and retest in the shop on a test stand. It can be used as a stand-alone vent to atmosphere pressure relief valve or can be used in addition to existing pressure relief valves to add additional flow capacity.

Customers can replace and easily maintain any standard 150# Asme pressure relief valve with the new relief valve. This product not only protects the tank system but reduces downtime and lowers operational costs, states the company.

Made with an aluminum cast body, stainless steel seat, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) pallet, and zinc-coated (galvanized) carbon steel calibrated weights, the valve comes in sizes from two to six inches and are available in pressure settings from 0.5-24 osig (in 0.5 osig increments) with API 2000 compliant leak rates.
