Valve characteristics

WEKA high-pressure valves are available in a wide variety of designs and cover a wide range of application areas. Thanks to our many years of experience, we can respond to individual customer needs. The vales are available the 420 bar, 640 bar and 1000 bar pressure classes and can be used both in the cryogenic liquid area and in the gaseous high-pressure area.

Materials

Steel grades, sealing methods and sealing materials are defined individually according to application range. Special materials such as 316LN or Stellit and specific manufacturing processes and technologies ensure a high level of reliability for special applications.

Testing

Each valve is subjected to a pressure test at 1.5*PN and integrally tested for tightness to the outside using helium. The tightness below the seat is also tested for the nominal pressure or for a value defined by the customer.

Application

High-pressure valves are widely used in hydrogen technology in particular. But also ground installations in the field of space technology or of testing facilities count on the proven WEKA technology.
