IBC Powder Blender/Mixer

The Matcon IBC Mixing/Blending Module allows rapid batch changeovers as the ingredients are fully contained within the IBC – no need to clean down. A wide range of batch sizes can be accommodated on one blender and multi-size IBCs between 300L and 3500L.

The Matcon IBC Mixing/Blending Module allows rapid batch changeovers as the ingredients are fully contained within the IBC – no need to clean down. This eliminates the time-consuming cleaning associated with traditional static mixers such as ribbon blenders or cone blenders.

High OEE rates are possible as IBCs are prepared & discharged separately from the blending process.

The fully contained system protects against any cross-contamination risks.

A wide range of batch sizes can be accommodated on one blender and multi-size IBCs between 300L and 3500L.

An optional Intensifier feature introduces High Shear to the IBC Blending process and expands its blending capabilities allowing more cohesive powders to be mixed & single stage bakery mixing possible. Ideal in situations where liquid addition is a recipe requirement.

The use of Near Infra-Red spectroscopy to identify when a mix is homogenous is also available.
