Next to being a total solution provider and a complete process integrator, J-Tec Material Handling is an expert in developing, engineering and integrating pneumatic conveying systems. By running tests and building installations for the handling of an enormous variety of products around the globe, they find their selves in a privileged position. J-Tec understands that every project and thus product requires a tailored approach and was therefore able to continually enhance their pneumatic conveying systems upon today, the day that they present their latest technological marvel.

J-Tec newest “A² (air assist) dense phase conveying installation” is a modular overflow system that is able to operate completely independent by adjusting its pressure values across a conveying installation. For the system to regulate itself, J-Tec’s in-house automation engineers developed a configurable software application allowing the end user to insert dedicated product values. The application interprets these values and regulates the most efficient product flow. The greatest leap forward is that the software is capable of maintaining a constant air pressure and velocity when conveying a certain product.

Modular:

One of the biggest advantages of this overflow system is that every piece of piping is pre-assembled. This solution is thus modular and easy to put together on site. Every piece of equipment is thoroughly tested in forehand at their facilities in order to make sure they meet J-Tec’s quality standards. E.g. the piping is inspected on irregularities and put under pressure to rule out possible leakages.

Applications:

J-Tec’s new approach of overflow conveying makes it possible to easily transport extremely delicate, abrasive and even very sticky products. This is mainly possible due to the accurate software-controlled air regulation unit which allows products to be transported extremely slow and well monitored.

Economic advantages:

In contrast to others, J-Tec’s smart A² system will only inject air where needed. This considerably decreases the total air and therefore energy consumption during the production process resulting in a smaller ecological footprint.
