Softing Industrial Automation announces the release of the new version V4.40 of its OPC Classic Development Toolkits, the world-leading software for the quick and easy development of fully compliant OPC Classic Servers and Clients for DA (Data Access), AE (Alarms&Events) and XML-DA on Windows.

The new version, bringing additional flexibility to developers and increased performance to OPC applications, includes:

  • Full Native 64Bit Support allowing the OPC application to be well equipped for the future
  • Support of Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 and .NET V4.5 respectively Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 delivering additional development tool options
  • Improved Performance for Read/Write/Subscribe Operations especially resulting in reducing set-up times when implementing OPC Server and Client applications with a large number of items

This important new version of the Softing OPC Classic Development Toolkits is available for free to all customers owning a valid Service and Support Agreement. The free delivery of the new set of license keys is available through the Softing sales representatives.
