New DTM for Softing’s Modbus to FOUNDATION™ fieldbus Gateways

Softing has released version 1.30 of the FF HSE/LD CommDTM for its FOUNDATION fieldbus (FF) to Modbus Gateways. The new version conforms to the Field Device Tool (FDT) specification 1.2 and can be used without a specific software or hardware key.

Softing has released version 1.30 of the FF HSE/LD CommDTM for its FOUNDATION fieldbus (FF) to Modbus Gateways. The new version conforms to the Field Device Tool (FDT) specification 1.2 and can be used without a specific software or hardware key.

The easy-to-use software consists of a FF High Speed Ethernet (HSE) Communication DTM and a FF Linking Device (LD) Gateway DTM and supports the Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 operation systems. It provides seamless integration into standard FDT frame applications like SMART VISION, FieldMate, Field Device Manager, or PACTware and supports Softing's FF to Modbus Gateway FG-110 FF as well as the Softing Fieldbus Interface Module FIM-110 FF. The FF HSE/LD CommDTM provides transparent access to field devices that support the FDT standard and are connected to the referring FF H1 networks. It is included in the scope of delivery of the Softing gateway solutions FG-110 FF and FIM-110 FF or can be downloaded here free of charge.
