KAHL Waste Tyre Recycling Plants - KAHL Waste Tyre Recycling Plants
Cost-Efficient and Flexible
Large quantities of waste tyres are produced worldwide. KAHL have developed a particularly cost-efficient process for the production of a metal- and fabric-free granulate. This granulate can be used for:
* Flexible floor coverings for sports and playgrounds
* Asphalt additive in road construction for reduction of driving noise and cracks
* Additive in the production of tyres
* Insulating material for use in family households and industry, e.g. in seats
* Moulded articles, e.g. for car ventilation systems
* Shoe soles
* Mats for protection against vibration and sound
* Floor coverings in stables
Proven process - rediscovered
With flat die pelleting presses the product is size-reduced to a particle size of 0.4 to 0.6 mm by means of warm grinding. KAHL have decades of experience with this machine type. It is used for compaction and pelleting and also ensures efficient granulation of difficult products such as waste tyres - completely without nitrogen.
The flat die pelleting presses are characterized by their sturdy construction and their high flexibility. Granulation presses for waste tyres achieve a throughput of 2.5 t/h in three-shift operation.
