PILOT UNITS - SMALL SCALE UNITS

One of Comber’s most important activities is test-work trials carried out with pilot units which Comber have both as laboratory and industrial half-scale versions of all their models. Research connected with trials has two aspects: 1) Testing of new solutions to further develop machines already in production and/or deeper check of the existing technological conditions to realize a new machine; 2) Check and set up of process parameters indispensable to give Customers eventual performance guarantees. Comber Process Technicians are available.

 

 

 

This availability, together with the pilot machine, allows dimensioning of all basic process machine ancillary equipments (such as condensation, heating, vacuum production groups, etc.) and the optimization of working time and supply.

 

Design engineering can be performed by combining chemical and mechanical engineering elements to get a result where any machine use aspect is harmonized with the others to get the maximum return.

 

Trials can be carried out at Comber in Italy or at Customer’s workshop, according to the process to be tested.
