Termomix® is a horizontal dryer which can work under pressure/vacuum, equipped with agitator, used for optimum production in complex chemical processes and when production cycles do not require frequent changes. It can be used as a mixer, reactor, crystallizer and dryer with unit operations carried out either sequentially or simultaneously. Particularly in heterogeneous reactions between different substances and generally in all those processes involving pressure, vacuum and heat exchange. It ensures versatile, flexible and safe operation. - High efficiency agitator for excellent mixing - High heat transfer coefficient - Large heat exchange surface: shaft and blades are also heated - Discharge of the dried product using the agitator - Maximum operator and environmental safety Calculation, design and manufacture in accordance with ASME pressure vessel code, Section VIII, with U-Stamp and/or Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC.

- Drying chamber consists of a horizontal axis cylindrical shell with flat or domed ends designed for pressure and vacuum

-   All surfaces in contact with product (shell, bottoms, agitators) are fluid circulation heated

-   Inside chamber the agitator with blades can rotate in the two senses to give better mixing

-   Mechanical seal can be “wet” or “dry” running (Nitrogen flowed only). System advantages are:

·         possibility to operate at higher vacuum levels

·         no dangerous losses and environmental pollution

·         no product pollution from external particles

-    Obviously traditional packing seal for all those cases where production specifications allow it

-   Machine moving with electrical variable speed system through converter or through hydraulic power pack

-   Security devices to preserve operator and machine safety

-   Machine control and managing automatized at different levels, as from simple local panel to more complex systems type PLC/PC etc. with different process phases total recipes managing and connection to DCS systems.
