We bring added-value solutions to your challenges

Using fluidised bed technology and spouted bed technology, we can bring added value to your food ingredients with completely new functionalities. Our solutions are simple: hot air, a steel container and a few additional devices. But our experts’ know-how in using them is priceless.

Through spray dryingspray granulationmicroencapsulationparticle coating or spray agglomeration with individually adapted process parameters and application-specific process control, we can work together to optimise product properties and create innovative ingredients for food and feed:

  • Collagen and proteins that are difficult to dissolve, as well as instant foods, are given a compact but porous structure with improved solubility through combined spray granulation and spray agglomeration.
  • Simple spray-dried products or liquids are turned into dust-free, free-flowing granules through spray agglomeration, which sink easily when dissolved and without clumping.
  • Coating or microencapsulation can be used to protect and release volatile or sensitive ingredients such as flavours, vitamins, essential fatty acids and micronutrients in a controlled manner.
  • Ingredients for premixes or food and feed compounds can be precisely conditioned in the fluidised and spouted bed for further processing, for example, for plant-based products and meat alternatives.
  • We precisely adjust parameters such as bulk density, flowability and particle stability of ingredients in spray granulation to improve handling.
