In August 2025, EPC Engineering & Technologies GmbH was selected as the technology licensor for a new 260 KTA polycarbonate production plant to be built in Shaanxi Province, China. The project will apply EPC’s proven polycarbonate technology process, to produce high-quality polycarbonate grades for domestic and international markets.

China Energy Yulin Chemical is part of CHN Energy, one of China’s largest state-owned energy and chemical groups. CHN Energy is active across the entire value chain, including electricity generation, petrochemical production, transport logistics, and renewable energy assets such as wind and solar. Its chemical division continues to expand into higher-value downstream materials with strategic investments in engineering plastics.
