Nouryon has announced a new organizational model as part of its strategy to accelerate growth and drive performance improvement. The new model, which will take effect January 1, 2020, is organized around three market-focused businesses supported by a centralized Operations and Functional structure.

With an estimated project cost of 950 million dollars, Renewable Energy Group has plans to upgrade its existing Geismar renewable diesel project in Louisiana, USA as well as expand the project in order to produce 340 million gallons of renewable diesel per year.

Chiyoda Group with its JV partners Saipem and Mc Dermott International will be responsible for carrying out the project. Under the terms, Saipem will execute the project while Mirai Engineering Italy will offer specified technical support.

Fluor is responsible for undertaking engineering, procurement and construction work for expansion of Milliken’s chemical plant at the Allen Plant site in Blacksburg, South Carolina. Work on the project is already in progress.
