The shipment from the UAE to Germany marks the first ever demonstration cargo of low-carbon ammonia between both the countries. Germany’s Aurubis, a leading global provider of non-ferrous metals will use the low-carbon ammonia as a feedstock in its wire rod plant in order to meet its decarbonization goals.

Topsoe has been selected by Ascension Clean Energy as a technology provider for its industrial-scale low carbon ammonia project in in Louisiana, USA. The project will be using Topsoe’s autothermal reforming technology and is expected to produce 7.2 million metric tons of clean ammonia every year.

Plug Power has secured three 5 MW electrolyzer projects with Ardagh Glass Limmared, Hydro Havrand, and the Apex Group. With this, it will be the first-ever use of industrial-scale green hydrogen in glass manufacturing, aluminum recycling, and steel manufacturing processes.

By signing three agreements with a total value equivalent to around seven billion dollars, Inoes aims to establish itself on the Chinese market. The deals signed with Sinopec generate a total annual capacity of seven million metric tons and generate sales of around ten billion dollars.
