The Exxon Mobil Renewable Diesel process technology (EMRD) is capable of converting bio-feedstocks into renewable diesel. The two-stage process controls hydrotreating and dewaxing separately.

Arbor Gas has selected Topsoe’s Tigas technology for producing renewable gasoline at a new facility in the Gulf Coast region (USA). The facility is expected to produce 1,000 barrels per day of renewable gasoline and will be operational by 2024.

Orion Engineered Carbons has commenced the construction of its second plant in China for specialty carbon black. Located in Huaibei, the new facility is expected to have an initial production capacity of 65-70 kilotons per year and will be completed by 2022.

Under a renewable power purchase agreement signed between Statkraft and Neste, Statkraft will supply approximately 215 GWh of wind power annually to Neste's Porvoo refinery in Finland. The Floating Liquefied Natural Gas project by Petronas has chosen BASF’s OASE purple gas treatment technology for its Acid Gas Removal Unit process. The project will extract natural gas from deepwater gas reservoirs in depths up to 1,500 meters.
