Toyo Chooses Velocys’ Technology for E-Fuels Project

Toyo along with a consortium of Japanese companies have selected Velocys’ Fischer Tropsch technology for an e-fuels project. The companies have been commissioned by the Government of Japan to jointly commence a demonstration project which aims at commercialization of a sustainable aviation fuels supply chain based on carbon recycling and regional revitalization through CO2 recycling.

Marathon, ADM Form JV for Feedstock Production

Marathon and ADM have plans to establish a joint venture which will focus on the production of soybean oil (feedstock) in order to produce renewable diesel. Under the terms of the agreement, the joint venture will own and operate ADM’s soybean processing complex in Spiritwood, USA which is expected to produce 600 million pounds of refined soybean oil annually.
