EUMEPS (The European Union of Manufacturers of Polystyrene) has developed a unique facility capable of recycling EPS (expanded polystyrene) building and construction waste. The Netherlands-based plant is the first of its kind and can recycle 3,300 metric tons of polystyrene foam insulation waste.

With an aim to tackle dairy waste issues, the EU-funded project, Agri Chem Whey plans to valorise over 25,000 tonnes per annum, of excess Whey Permeate and De-lactosed Whey Permeate at its first-of-a-kind bio-refinery.

Bayer CropScience plans to establish a new breeding center in the Wimmera region, near Horsham (Victoria, Australia), focused on wheat and oilseeds.
