Hydrogen technology company H2Site has raised 12.5 million euros in a Series A funding round led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV). The funding is to accelerate the scale up of the company’s integrated membrane reactor and membrane separation technologies.

The chemical company Yara along with Northern Lights, a joint venture firm of Shell, Equinor and Total Energies have entered into an agreement to transport CO2 captured from Yara Sluiskil, an ammonia and fertilizer plant in the Netherlands, and permanently store it under the seabed off the coast of Norway.

Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser has secured an alkaline electrolyzer equipment contract from Woodside Energy for its H2ok hydrogen project which will be set up in Ardmore, Oklahoma, US. The technical implementation of Covestro’s unique process is being carried out on a pilot-scale in Leverkusen, Germany. Under this chemical recycling process, plastics can be converted back into their monomers so that they can be fed back into the production process as alternative raw materials.
