St1 Refinery to Produce SAF with Honeywell Technology

Honeywell’s Ecofining technology has been selected by the St1 Refinery to produce sustainable aviation fuel. The Gothenburg plant is expected to produce 200,000 tons of renewable fuels annually and can utilize flexible feedstocks, including used cooking oil, animal fats, and tall oil fatty acids from paper and pulp mills.

Qair to Develop E-Methanol Project in France

Qair has plans to develop an e-methanol production project Methavert at the Haropa Port site, in Le Havre, France. The facility is expected to initially produce 200,000 tonnes of e-methanol to support the decarbonization of maritime transport and other high-emission and hard-to-abate industries.
