Shell has selected KBR’s blue ammonia technology for its Blue Horizons low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia project in Oman. The project is expected to produce 3,000 metric tons of ammonia per day by utilizing hydrogen produced by Shell’s Blue Hydrogen technology.

OCI Global has plans to sell its under construction Clean Ammonia project in Beaumont, Texas to Woodside Energy Group for a total consideration of 2.35 billion dollars. The OCI Clean Ammonia project is claimed to be the world’s first large-scale and low-carbon intensity hydrogen-based greenfield ammonia facility.

Under a contract signed between Repsol and Volotea, Repsol will supply up to 6.1 million litres of sustainable aviation fuel from 2025 to 2029 to all the flights operated by the Volotea airline from airports in Spain.

Avina Clean Hydrogen has selected KBR’s sustainable aviation fuel technology Puresaf for its US facility which aims to produce 120 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel per year. KBR will also provide front-end engineering design for the facility.

Total Energies has entered into an agreement with Gunvor Group to sell its 50 % stake in Total Parco Pakistan, a 50-50 joint venture between Total Energies Marketing and Services and Pak-Arab Refinery.

Honeywell and Repsol have plans to work together in order to create new production pathways for biofuels and circular materials. The companies also intend to scale and commercialize Honeywell's technologies for chemical production and renewable fuels at Repsol’s refineries.
