Air Liquide will invest around 350 Crores Rupees (40 million euros) in a new Air Separation Unit (ASU) dedicated to Industrial Merchant activities in Kosi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Northern India. This unit will have a production capacity of 350 tonnes per day, with a maximum of 300 tonnes of oxygen. Air Liquide India will build, own and operate this ASU, which is planned to start operating by the end of 2023.

With a power capacity of 61 MW and a total storage capacity of 61 MWh, the largest battery-based energy storage facility in France has been commissioned by TotalEnergies. The project supports the need for grid stabilization in the country and will enable the production of renewable energy by integrating green electricity into the grid.

Perstorp has acquired GEO’s Di-Methylolpropionic Acid (DMPA) business with an aim to further strengthen its sustainable resins and coatings business. With this move, GEO will continue to produce DMPA exclusively for Perstorp in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA.

ExxonMobil has acquired a 49.9 % stake in Biojet with an aim to provide lower-emissions products for the transportation sector. Biojet will convert forestry and wood-based construction waste into lower-emissions biofuels and biofuel components as well as supply 3 million barrels per year to ExxonMobil.
