United, Honeywell Invest in Alder Fuels for Producing SAF

Alder Fuels is currently working on a unique technology which has the potential to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at scale by converting biomass into sustainable low-carbon crude oil that can be used to produce aviation fuel. United Airlines and Honeywell have invested in the technology company which aims to produce fuel that is a 100 % drop-in replacement for petroleum jet fuel.

Marathon, ADM Form JV for Feedstock Production

Marathon and ADM have plans to establish a joint venture which will focus on the production of soybean oil (feedstock) in order to produce renewable diesel. Under the terms of the agreement, the joint venture will own and operate ADM’s soybean processing complex in Spiritwood, USA which is expected to produce 600 million pounds of refined soybean oil annually.

BP, Adnoc, Masdar Team Up for Clean and Low Carbon Energy

Under the three agreements signed between BP, Adnoc and Masdar, the companies jointly aim to develop low carbon hydrogen hubs and decarbonized air corridors between the UK and UAE. BP and Adnoc also have plans to continue decarbonizing existing oil and gas operations by using methane detection, CCUS and pioneering digital technologies.
