Lanzajet has recently inaugurated the world’s first ethanol to sustainable aviation fuel production facility – Freedom Pines Fuels in Georgia, USA. With this plant, the company aims to decarbonize the aviation sector.

The new joint venture in Egypt will be 51 % owned by BP and 49 % by Adnoc. With this move, the joint venture is expected to grow a highly competitive gas portfolio by combining the deep technical capabilities and track records of both the firms.

Under a joint development agreement, Aramco and Enowa are aiming to develop a first-of-its-kind synthetic electro fuel e-fuel demonstration plant. The unit is expected to demonstrate technical feasibility and commercial viability by producing 35 barrels per day of low-carbon, synthetic gasoline from renewable-based hydrogen and captured CO2.

Aker Carbon Capture has been awarded a feasibility study for an e-fuel project in Finland. The company plans to integrate its standardized and modularized carbon capture units into the e-fuel process at a waste-to-energy facility.

With an aim to address the global plastic waste crisis, Rumpke will begin sorting hard-to-recycle and colored Pet packaging waste and will provide 100 percent of this waste stream as feedstock to Eastman’s molecular recycling process which will turn it into virgin quality polyesters.
