Steriline Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Ilaria Fumagalli has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Steriline after her father and Founder of the company Gerardo Fumagalli decided to step down. However, he will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Fumagalli’s son Federico Fumagalli has also been appointed as the firm’s Chief Sales Officer.

The consortium including Petronas, Enilive and Euglena have reached a final investment decision to develop a biorefinery within Petronas’ Pengerang Integrated Complex in Johor, Malaysia. Together, the three firms intend to establish a joint venture company to construct and operate the biorefinery.
