Braskem has officially inaugurated its new Renewable Innovation Center in Massachusetts, USA. The center aims to focus on accelerating early-stage innovations in renewable chemicals and sustainable materials.

MOL Group along with its joint venture partners Socar and BP have entered into commercial agreements for the development of gas reserves in the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field in Azerbaijan. MOL is the third largest shareholder in the ACG field, where non-associated gas reservoirs were identified beneath and above the oil producing reservoirs.

Tecnimont has bagged a construction contract for Ta’ziz’s 1 million tons per annum low-carbon ammonia production facility in Al Ruwais Industrial City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Construction for the project is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024, with operations scheduled to commence in 2027.

Under the terms of the technology licensing agreement, Reliance will be provided with an exclusive license for Nel’s alkaline electrolyzers in India and it will also allow Reliance to manufacture Nel’s alkaline electrolyzers for captive purposes globally.

Lummus’ new renewable dimethyl ether technology can process numerous types of methanol to produce renewable dimethyl ether. The technology is also capable of lowering Capex and Opex.

Evonik has begun operations at its new facility for drying aqueous dispersions of Eudragit polymers at its site in Darmstadt, Germany. The new manufacturing unit will enable Evonik to meet the increasing demand from pharmaceutical customers for oral drug delivery solutions.

Next Hydrogen has bagged a contract to supply its latest generation electrolysis technology to the University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center in the USA. The technology will be used for renewable energy ammonia production research.
