Encina and BASF have entered into a long-term supply agreement for chemically recycled circular benzene derived from post-consumer end-of-life plastics. BASF will use the chemically recycled benzene for its broad Ccycled product portfolio.

Accelera has entered into a MOU with Gail to explore opportunities in hydrogen production, blending, transportation and storage. The two companies also intend to assess and develop projects for hydrogen applications across multiple sectors such as transport, power and steel.

Under a MOU signed between Enerflex and BASF, both the firms will work together to facilitate the commercial scale deployment of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) applications. For this, the parties will combine Enerflex’s expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and integration of gas processing and compression systems with BASF’s proprietary Oase blue technology for flue gas and post-combustion CO2 capture.

Every Thursday, S&P Global Platts will publish a price for liquid green hydrogen for the following week based on Plug’s supply and demand. With this move, Plug has already entered into multiple spot pricing agreements with several key industry players.

Claimed to be the first green hydrogen production site in northern France, Lhyfe has plans to develop the site in Croixrault, in the Somme region of Hauts-de-France. The site, which will be able to produce and deliver up to two tonnes of green and renewable hydrogen per day, is one of the five Lhyfe sites in operation or under construction in France.

At the recently held ‘Make it in the Emirates’ forum, Adnoc announced that its suppliers have committed to invest 817 million dollars in manufacturing facilities across the UAE. With an aim to enable additional U.S. drug product manufacturing, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Sanofi have decided to expand their strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, Thermo Fisher will acquire Sanofi’s steriles manufacturing site in New Jersey and will continue to manufacture therapies for Sanofi.
