Abraxas Power Corporation has selected Mc Dermott for Canada's first commercial green hydrogen and ammonia production facility in Central Newfoundland. The facility is expected to produce 165 kta of hydrogen and 5000 metric tons per day of ammonia.

Metis Engineering has launched its next-generation hydrogen leak detection sensor, an addition to its Cell Guard series. The sensor offers precise hydrogen leakage detection to prevent risks of explosion or fire in hydrogen storage facilities.

AM Green’s green ammonia plant has become the first Indian project to secure the prestigious Certifhy EU Pre-Certification. Situated in Kakinada, India, the project is expected to increase its production capacity from one to five million tons per annum of green ammonia by 2030.

Shell has selected KBR’s blue ammonia technology for its Blue Horizons low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia project in Oman. The project is expected to produce 3,000 metric tons of ammonia per day by utilizing hydrogen produced by Shell’s Blue Hydrogen technology.

Under a MOU signed between both the parties, Carbon Clean will work together with Petronas CCS Solutions to evaluate Carbon Clean’s carbon capture and storage technology. The focus of this collaboration includes assessing various methods of carbon capture for potential integration into different areas of Petronas’ operations.

Claimed to become one of the largest Carbon Capture and Storage hubs globally, the project’s first phase is expected to be completed in 2027 in Jubail, Saudi Arabia and will capture and store up to 9 million metric tons of CO2 annually.

North Huajin Refining and Petrochemical Company has selected Solvay’s hydrogen peroxide technology for its new Panjin facility in China which is expected to produce 300 kilotons of propylene oxide per year.

Agilyx has announced a final investment decision for a second Cyclyx Circularity Center in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, USA. The new facility is expected to create further necessary infrastructure for a plastic circular economy.
