The first product in Sabic’s low carbon product portfolio is methanol. The methanol product offers a lower carbon content and provides the same high-quality product specifications as compared to a traditional one. It also offers CO2 footprint savings.

OCI Global has plans to sell its under construction Clean Ammonia project in Beaumont, Texas to Woodside Energy Group for a total consideration of 2.35 billion dollars. The OCI Clean Ammonia project is claimed to be the world’s first large-scale and low-carbon intensity hydrogen-based greenfield ammonia facility.

Avina Clean Hydrogen has selected KBR’s sustainable aviation fuel technology Puresaf for its US facility which aims to produce 120 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel per year. KBR will also provide front-end engineering design for the facility.

SK Energy will begin commercial operations for sustainable aviation fuels at its new facility in South Korea next month. Under a framework agreement signed between Voltalia and Taqa Arabia, both the parties will work towards developing a cluster combining renewable energy and green hydrogen production in Egypt.
