Aramco collaborated with Pasqal to deploy Saudi Arabia's first quantum computer and the Middle East's first quantum computer dedicated to industrial applications. The move marks a crucial step in building regional expertise and accelerating the development of quantum applications across the energy, materials, and industrial sectors in the Middle East.

The Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation has awarded Asahi Kasei with the 2025 Imperial Invention Prize for its invention of a nickel-coated absorption layer which extends the service life of electrodes for chlor-alkali electrolysis.

Under a long-term offtake agreement between Exxonmobil and Marubeni, Exxonmobil will supply approximately 250,000 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia per year from its facility in Baytown, Texas to Marubeni.

Under an agreement signed between both the parties, RWE will build as well as operate a 300 MW electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen and Total Energies will supply 30,000 tons a year of green hydrogen to the Leuna refinery in Germany for fifteen years.

Kaust and Aramco have entered into an intellectual property license agreement for commercialization of the Hybrid Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Crawler Technology. The technology boasts of merging aerial and terrestrial robotic capabilities to support inspection, monitoring, and other advanced industrial applications. 

A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held by Dupont for its new Molykote specialty lubricants manufacturing plant in China. The new plant is expected to deliver next-generation lubricant solutions with speed and precision.
