OCI Global has partnered with Petrofac for delivering OCI’s programme of gasification-based green methanol projects. The programme aims to support the production of low-carbon feedstock for OCI’s existing methanol facilities.

Foresight Group has awarded Nextchem with a feasibility study for developing a carbon capture and sustainable methanol synthesis plant in the ETA Manfredonia waste-to-energy plant in Italy. The project aims to valorize about 200 ktonne/year of CO2 currently emitted into the atmosphere by combining it with green hydrogen for the production of sustainable fuel.

BP has plans to assess the feasibility of establishing a new hydrogen hub at Wilhelmshaven, Germany as the location is also expected to witness the construction of a large-scale ammonia cracker.
