Project Greensand aims to store up to 8 million tonnes of CO2 annually in the area by 2030.

Calpine has awarded a Feed contract to Technip Energies, Shell Catalysts & Technologies and Zachry Group for its new carbon capture project in Texas, USA. The project is expected to capture two million tons of CO2 annually.

Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, have developed a new method that can easily purify contaminated water using a cellulose-based material. This discovery could have implications for countries with poor water treatment technologies and combat the widespread problem of toxic dye discharge from the textile industry.

Under the collaboration between Trakcel and Lonza, both the parties have successfully combined Trakcel’s cell orchestration platform Ocellos and Lonza’s manufacturing Moda-Es(R) platform.
