Air Products has plans to build a green hydrogen production facility in New York, USA. The produced liquid hydrogen is expected to be supplied to the city’s mobility market along with other potential industrial markets. The company is also exploring the feasibility of developing a hydrogen fueling station network in the country.

Maire Tecnimont has awarded KBR with a technology contract for its 1.1 million ton per annum blue ammonia plant in the USA. The project will transition from blue to green ammonia production in the future.

With an aim to expand the green hydrogen economy within Europe and across the globe, Cummins has plans to develop a new gigawatt PEM electrolyzer manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Spain. The project is expected to produce 500 MW of electrolyzers annually and can be scalable to produce more than 1 GW every year.

Pharmapack Europe is all set to introduce two new zones – Packaging Services and Bio packaging at next year’s event. The additions have been made in the background of growing demand for biological packaging and contract packaging in the market.

Under a MOU signed between both the parties, CB&I will assess its liquid hydrogen (LH2) storage tank design for the ship while DSME will focus on developing the ship’s design to install the storage tank. Cummins has plans to develop the manufacturing facility in Fridley, Minnesota to produce electrolyzers in order to support the country’s green hydrogen economy. Initially, the plant will have a manufacturing capacity of 500 MW every year which can later on be scalable to 1 GW.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has recently commissioned a new green hydrogen plant at its AM Naik Heavy Engineering Complex in Hazira, Gujarat. Expected to produce 45 kg of green hydrogen daily, the facility’s first phase comprising 380 kW alkaline electrolyzer has been installed, while the PEM electrolyzer along with solar plant capacity augmentation will be installed in the future.

Under a joint collaboration between Borealis and Verbund, both the parties intend to produce green hydrogen on an industrial-scale which can then be used for manufacturing fertilizers, melamine and technical nitrogen.

Technip Energies together with Monford Group has secured an EPCC contract to develop a green hydrogen plant – Yuri, phase O in Australia. Awarded by Yuri Operations, the project is expected to produce up to 640 tonnes of green hydrogen annually and will be used in the existing Yara Pilbara Ammonia Plant to produce green ammonia.

Solvay is resuming the construction of its 600 KT soda ash capacity expansion in Green River, WY, USA and will also be implementing a new breakthrough technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the site by 20 %.
