With a production of 1 billion cubic feet of hydrogen per day, Exxonmobil’s facility in Baytown, Texas, USA is expected to be the world’s largest low carbon hydrogen plant. The project will make use of Topsoe’s Syncor hydrogen technology to produce hydrogen as well as capture and store more than 98 % of its associated CO2 emissions.

With the approval, the joint venture will aim to produce cathode active materials (Cam) and precursor materials (PCAM) in Europe on a large-scale. It will also supply key materials to Power Co's European battery cell factories in the near future.

Strategic Biofuels has selected Johnson Matthey (JM) and BP’s joint technology for its Louisiana Green Fuels project (LGF) in Louisiana, USA. The project aims to convert 1 million tons of forestry waste feedstock into renewable diesel and is expected to produce 31.8 million gallons of biofuels annually.

Total Energies has collaborated with Petronas and Mitsui to establish a carbon storage hub in Malaysia. Under the terms of the contract, the parties will identify the best site for the project and also develop a business framework for commercialization of a carbon storage service in the country.

The joint project ‘Pülpegas’ will be developing an innovative industrial biogas plant with a capacity of up to 60GWh/year at the Zeitz Chemical and Industrial Park in Germany. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the project will demonstrate wheat pulp mono-fermentation on an industrial scale.
