Stamicarbon has entered into a license agreement to develop a basic engineering design package for a 450 MTPD green ammonia plant in the USA. Based on the Stami Green Ammonia technology, the plant will produce green ammonia which can be used as feedstock for nitrogen-based fertilizers.

L&T also plans to develop a gigawatt-scale manufacturing facility for electrolyzers based on Mc Phy’s technology in India to cater to the domestic requirements as well as other regions.

Graforce has launched a new technology called methane electrolysis (plasmalysis) which is capable of converting LNG into CO2-free hydrogen. This technology only requires one-fifth the energy as compared to water electrolysis to produce the same amount of hydrogen.
