İgsaş - İstanbul Gübre Sanayii has selected thyssenkrupp Uhde’s new uhde ammonia converter cartridge and Johnson Matthey’s high-performance catalyst Katalco 74-1 for its existing ammonia plant in Turkey. With this, the company aims to significantly reduce the pressure in the synthesis loop of its ammonia plant while maintaining the nameplate capacity of 1,200 mtpd.

Fluid Components International’s SIL-2 rated FS10i Flow Switch Series offers precision thermal sensors which proves beneficial for the production of green hydrogen energy. It is also claimed to be the only product in its class to carry a SIL 2 compliance rating with a 90 % Safe Failure Fraction.

Plug Power and Acciona Energía have plans to develop an industrial-scale, green hydrogen plant in Spain. Called ‘Valle H2V Navarra’, the 87-million-euro project will include a 25 MW electrolyzer and is expected to produce 3,880 tons of green hydrogen annually.
