BASF’s Durasorb Cryo-HRU technology proves to be an effective solution for the removal of trace heavy hydrocarbons (HHCs) and water from lean natural gas feeds for cryogenic processing. The technology can be used for new units as well as retrofits.

BASF’s new plant has been developed in Pontecchio Marconi, Italy and will offer its Nor technology platform to the expanding agriculture industry. The platform comprises of a range of light and thermal stabilisers which prove beneficial for plasticulture applications.

BASF has started up a world-scale plant for the production of specialty amines in Ludwigshafen. The multi-product plant can manufacture approximately 12,000 metric tons per year of a product range of about 15 amines for different applications.

The acquisition has led to the establishment of the MBCC Group and Dr. Jochen Fabritius has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the new standalone company. The Group will be focusing on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction industry.
