BASF Venture Capital is investing $ 2 million into Alchemist Accelerator’s fund, allocating at least half towards investments in 3D printing, agtech, material informatics, nutrition, and technology game-changers.

BASF has plans to increase the production capacity of its hindered amine light stabilizers in Pontecchio Marconi, Italy and Lampertheim, Germany. The move is expected to meet the growing demand for sustainable solutions across the globe.

BASF has plans to expand the production capacity of its Ultramid polyamide grades in Panoli, Gujarat due to increasing market demand in the Asian country. The additional capacity is expected to be available in Q4 2022.

With growing demand for engineering plastics especially in ASEAN, BASF has plans to expand the production capacity of its Ultramid polyamide (PA) and Ultradur polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) product at its Pasir Gudang site in Malaysia by 5,000 metric tons annually.
