Neste and Lyondell Basell have entered into a long-term commercial agreement to develop polymers and chemicals from renewable feedstock. Under the terms of the contract, Lyondell Basell will source Neste RE, a 100 % renewable feedstock for its German plant to produce sustainable polymers and chemical solutions.

Under a MOU signed between Shell and Uniper, both the companies will jointly work together to drive the development of a hydrogen economy in Germany, the Netherlands and other European countries.

Neste, Mitsui Chemicals and Toyota Tsusho have collaborated to start first production of renewable plastics from 100 % bio-based hydrocarbons in Japan.
