Located in Budenheim, Germany, the new facility will produce green hydrogen and fuel cell components. The unit will also produce low-iridium-loaded catalyst coated membranes, a key functional part for proton exchange membrane water electrolysis.

EET Hydrogen Power, Europe’s first hydrogen-ready combined heat and power plant will be developed at Essar Energy Transition’s Stanlow refinery in the UK. With this project, EET Fuels’ aims to become the lowest carbon process refinery globally and EET Hydrogen aims to become the leading low carbon hydrogen producer in the UK.

Many processes require ammonia — but handling this volatile substance, which is aggressive in combination with water, is not easy. In particular, the need to take regular samples poses challenges for operators. Optimized processes enable faster sampling of ammonia and thus contribute to higher accuracy, lower costs and greater employee safety.

Under an agreement signed with Heidelberg Materials, Linde will be responsible for developing and operating a large-scale carbon capture and liquefaction facility in Germany. With this project, both the parties aim to reduce carbon emissions at Heidelberg’s Lengfurt plant.

Under the terms of the agreement, Inox Air Products will supply green hydrogen to Asahi India Glass’ greenfield float glass facility in Rajasthan, India. Metso has secured an order from Hindalco Industries for delivering a large integrated electronic waste recycling process near Birla’s copper unit in Pakhajan, Gujarat, India. The greenfield facility is claimed to be the first of its kind in India and is expected to produce 50 kt of low-carbon copper annually.
