The German pharmaceutical industry is one of the world's leading locations for the sector and a hotspot for innovation and modern technologies. With this in mind, the Sea Vision Group is opening a new strategic subsidiary in Frankfurt am Main on the occasion of the CPHI.

The Sea Vision Group, a global provider of image processing systems, traceability solutions, and digital automation for the pharmaceutical industry, is opening a new subsidiary in Frankfurt am Main. Following Italy and France, this is the group's third European location and is intended to consolidate Sea Vision's presence in the key markets of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The official opening will take place during the CPHI in Frankfurt.

Strategic expansion

The decision to locate in Germany is part of an expansion plan with which Sea Vision aims to further expand its sales and service network in Europe. “The investment in Germany is based on a strategic analysis of developments in the pharmaceutical sector and the European industrial environment,” Reinhard Caronni, head of the new Sea Vision Germany subsidiary, explains. Despite the current economic and geopolitical challenges, the German pharmaceutical industry is characterized by resilience, stability, and sustainable growth potential. Germany is also one of the leading locations for pharmaceutical production and offers favorable conditions for the introduction of advanced technologies.

Technical service center with showroom

The new subsidiary in the heart of the biotech hotspot Frankfurt will serve as a technical and commercial service center. It offers pharmaceutical companies in the region comprehensive support in sales, technology, project management, and administration – including customer service in German. The software development will remain centralized at the Italian headquarters to ensure continuity and quality in product development.

According to the company, the aim is to offer a professional, flexible, and customer-oriented service that is characterized by technological excellence and practical support. The location was designed to optimally combine innovation, training, and customer contact. In addition to open-space offices and a reception area with a terrace, it also includes training rooms and a showroom with pharmaceutical packaging machines and Sea Vision technologies – which can be used for demonstrations, tests, and specialist events.

Hands-on solutions

As part of CPHI, Sea Vision is inviting customers from the DACH region to visit the new premises. The subsidiary is located just a few minutes from the airport and the exhibition center and will serve as a contact point for live demonstrations of innovative solutions from the Sea Vision portfolio. The focus is on systems for the digitization and automation of production processes, including:

A-Eye Clearance – an AI-supported system for line clearance,

Yudoo – a software suite for the digitization of pharmaceutical processes and data analysis,

Track & Trace solutions, e.g., the SL-A210 with tamper-evident option and integrated tracker software for serialization and code verification.
